Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026
This is a draft template, not reviewed by a lawyer. Have qualified legal counsel review and adapt it for your jurisdiction and business before relying on it as your actual terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PatchMatch (the "Service"), operated by PatchMatch ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at patchmatchpro.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What PatchMatch Is

PatchMatch is a directory and matching service that connects consultants who need equipment ("Consultants") with equipment suppliers ("Suppliers"). PatchMatch does not own, inspect, rent, insure, or take possession of any equipment listed on the Service, and is not a party to any rental, sale, or service agreement between a Consultant and a Supplier.

2. Accounts

3. Supplier Subscriptions & Billing

Suppliers who want their listings visible to Consultants must maintain an active paid subscription, processed through Stripe. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Supplier account. We do not store your payment card details — all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe.

4. Reviews

Consultants may leave reviews and star ratings for Suppliers they've contacted. Reviews must be honest, based on an actual interaction, and must not contain defamatory, harassing, or unlawful content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate this policy.

5. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee equipment availability, quality, safety, or suitability, and we are not responsible for disputes, damages, or losses arising from any arrangement between a Consultant and a Supplier. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PatchMatch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Prohibited Conduct

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Confirm this is the correct jurisdiction for your business before publishing.)
